Activities not syncing to the app.

When Wahoo rides exist on your device but don't appear in WattsUp. Note: Garmin activities require manual FIT file upload.

Different from a general sync issue — this is specifically when rides are confirmed in the Wahoo app, but never appear in your WattsUp activity feed. Usually a stale token or a webhook that didn't fire.

Check these first.

Quick check — try this first
  1. 01Confirm the ride is in the Wahoo app first.
  2. 02Pull-to-refresh on the WattsUp Activities tab.
  3. 03Check Integrations — is Wahoo still connected?
  4. 04Look for a red 'Sync failed' banner on the home screen.

Common causes

Symptom · 01

"Ride is in Wahoo but missing in WattsUp"

Likely cause

Webhook delayed or dropped — the notification to WattsUp didn't fire.

Fix

Open Integrations → tap Wahoo → 'Re-sync now'. Pull-to-refresh in WattsUp. If still missing after 30 minutes, disconnect and reconnect the Wahoo integration.

Symptom · 02

"'Sync failed' banner won't go away"

Likely cause

Auth token expired — usually after changing your Wahoo password.

Fix

Tap the banner → Reconnect. Re-authorise via Wahoo's OAuth flow. You'll reconnect securely — your existing history stays.

Symptom · 03

"Only some metrics sync — no power, missing HR"

Likely cause

Sensors weren't paired to the head unit when recording.

Fix

Nothing to fix in WattsUp — the source file is missing that data. Check the original activity in the Wahoo app. Re-pair your power meter or heart rate monitor before your next ride.

Symptom · 04

"Ride shows up, then disappears"

Likely cause

Deduplication matched it against a near-duplicate from another source (e.g. a manual .fit upload).

Fix

Tap Activities → ⋯ → Show hidden duplicates. Restore the one you want and delete the other.
