Update Payment Method

Change the payment method for your WattsUp subscription

Payment Through App Store

WattsUp subscriptions are managed through your device's app store. To update your payment method, you'll need to change it in your Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) settings.

For iOS (iPhone/iPad)

Open Settings

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad

Tap Your Name

At the top of Settings, tap on your name to access your Apple ID settings

Go to Payment & Shipping

Tap 'Payment & Shipping' to view and manage your payment methods

Update or Add Payment Method

Tap on your existing payment method to edit it, or tap 'Add Payment Method' to add a new one. You may need to authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your password.

For Android

Open Google Play Store

Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device

Tap Profile Icon

Tap on your profile icon in the top right corner

Go to Payments & Subscriptions

Tap 'Payments & subscriptions' and then 'Payment methods'

Update or Add Payment Method

Select your existing payment method to edit it, or tap 'Add credit or debit card' or 'Add PayPal' to add a new one.

Important Notes

  • Your new payment method will be used for all future app store purchases and subscriptions
  • Changes take effect immediately for new charges
  • If your subscription renewal fails due to payment issues, update your payment method and the app store will retry
  • You cannot update payment methods directly through the WattsUp app - it must be done through your app store
