View Your Subscription
To view your current subscription plan and status:
- Open the WattsUp app
- Navigate to Settings → Profile
- Your subscription tier and status are displayed at the top
About Payments
RevenueCat Payment Processing
WattsUp uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions through your device's app store:
- iOS users: Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store
- Android users: Subscriptions are managed through Google Play Store
- Billing appears on your app store account statement
- Payment method is the one linked to your app store account
Common Billing Issues
Subscription not showing as active
If you've subscribed but WattsUp doesn't recognize it:
- Force close and reopen the app
- Check your app store receipt to confirm payment went through
- Ensure you're signed in with the same Apple ID / Google account used for purchase
- Wait a few minutes - it can take time for the subscription to sync
- Try logging out and back into WattsUp
Payment failed or declined
If your payment is not going through:
- Check your payment method in your app store settings
- Ensure your credit/debit card has sufficient funds
- Verify the card hasn't expired
- Update your payment method in App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
- Contact your bank if the issue persists
Charged twice or unexpected charges
If you see duplicate or unexpected charges:
- Check if you have multiple active subscriptions
- Verify you're not subscribed on multiple devices/accounts
- Review your app store purchase history
- Contact your app store support (Apple or Google) for refund requests
- Contact us at jerry@watts-up.app if the issue persists
Subscription shows expired but I didn't cancel
If your subscription unexpectedly expired:
- Check your app store subscription settings
- Verify your payment method is valid and up to date
- Look for any failed payment notifications from your app store
- Review your bank/card statements for declined charges
- Re-subscribe through the app if the subscription lapsed
